From: Corinth, TX Studying nuclear engineering because: I wanted to do something that incorporated math and physics into a field that had high impact. Finding a sustainable and clean energy source is one of the greatest challenges we face in the 21st century, and nuclear energy is key to solving this crisis. I hope to work on further advancement on reactor designs and the technologies required to do so. Best thing about ANS: There are a lot of networking opportunities and informational resources to help you pursue the best pathway in your career. Also, you get to meet a lot of diverse people with varying interests within nuclear engineering and make friends along the way. |
